Who We Are
A certified e-waste management company built for Ghana — and committed to the communities and environment we all share.
Our Story
Born from a problem too large to ignore
Ghana is one of the world’s largest recipients of second-hand and end-of-life electronics. What arrives as donated equipment too often ends its days at Agbogbloshie — burned, broken down, and leaching toxins into the ground.
Sustainable E-Waste Solutions was founded because that story does not have to continue. Our founders saw an urgent gap: organisations across Ghana — corporations, ministries, banks, schools, hospitals — had no trusted, certified, local partner for responsible e-waste disposal. They were either stockpiling equipment, using informal collectors, or disposing of devices in ways that created legal and reputational risk.
We exist to close that gap. We provide a certified, door-to-door e-waste management service that gives every organisation a compliant, documented, dignified pathway for their end-of-life electronics — with no compromise on data security, environmental responsibility, or professional standards.
Making waste simple for you
We deliver top waste solutions daily
"We decommissioned over 200 laptops and 40 servers as part of a major infrastructure upgrade. My biggest concern was the data — years of sensitive financial records and client information across those drives. Sustainable E-Waste Solutions handled everything. They came to our premises, destroyed the hard drives on-site, and issued a certificate for every single device with the serial number listed. When our compliance team asked for documentation, I had it ready within the hour. I won't use anyone else."
Kwame Asante
IT Infrastructure Manager, Financial Services Sector Accra, Ghana
"As a public institution, we are held to a high standard of accountability — and that includes how we dispose of government-owned assets. We needed a partner who understood procurement documentation requirements and could provide a fully traceable record of disposal. Sustainable E-Waste Solutions provided exactly that. The collection was professional, the manifests were precise, and the compliance certificate was exactly what our audit team needed. This is what responsible public sector asset management looks like."
Abena Osei-Bonsu
Head of Administration,
"I kept putting off dealing with our old computers because I assumed it would be expensive and complicated. It was neither. I sent a message, they came to our office within three days, collected everything — old desktops, monitors, printers, even some cables and chargers — and handed me a certificate before they left. My only regret is not doing it sooner. If you have electronics sitting in a storeroom collecting dust, just call them."
Nii Martey N-A
Harmoniser-in-Chief, Ronel Agency
"Our organisation had made public commitments on environmental responsibility, and we needed our practices to match our words. The question of what happened to our end-of-life IT equipment was one we genuinely could not answer — until we engaged Sustainable E-Waste Solutions. They now handle all our e-waste collections and provide quarterly documentation summaries that feed directly into our ESG reporting. We can quantify the tonnes diverted, the materials recovered, and the communities protected. That is the difference between a sustainability claim and a sustainability record."
